Let the countdown begin..........

Even though the cutoff date to bring information for the 2018 tax year has passed, we are diligently working to complete as many returns as possible before the April 15 date. In past years we have completed many returns before the deadline-even for clients that bring information to us AFTER the cutoff date. To be fair to each client, we prepare each return in the order that information was brought to our office.

Have no fear though, if your return is not complete by April 15, we will file an extension with the Internal Revenue Service.

When we are completely finished with your return, we will contact you by phone or email (whichever you choose). You will then need to sign all necessary forms and an engagement letter before your return(s) is transmitted electronically to the Internal Revenue Service as well as any state returns.

Our office staff will make the entire process as simple as possible, but feel free to ask questions.

Cutoff dates for 2018 Tax Year

The cutoff to bring, email or fax tax information to our office is :for Partnerships and Corporations- Tuesday, February 26, 2019 and for Individuals-Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Individuals should complete 2018 Tax Information Worksheet that can be printed from the “Useful Forms” section of our website. Bring this along with your tax information.

**Please bring all information at the same time. Bringing additional information after you have informed us that your return is ready to be completed can result in additional fees (or an extension) if your return must be redone.**

We must receive ALL information to prepare returns by these dates to ensure that your return will be completed and transmitted by April 15, 2019.

As the tax deadline approaches.........

First and foremost: thank you for entrusting us with your tax preparation needs.

We would like to ensure all our clients that we are diligently working to complete your income tax returns. We work on each return in the order that they are received. After your return is completed by Royce, it then goes to support staff who put everything in order, write instructions that apply to your personal return and prepare for you to sign the necessary forms for your return to be submitted to the IRS and state, if applicable.

Each return is unique and goes through many phases of preparation, before and after the return is completed by Royce.

We have a cutoff date each year for information to be received into our office and we ensure that all returns are completed by the federal deadline if information is received by the cutoff date. This cutoff date is generally the last Friday in March prior to the April federal deadline.

Information that is received after the cutoff date could require an extension to be filed. We keep working up until the federal deadline to complete as many returns(received after the cutoff) as possible.

When your return is complete and ready for you to review and sign, we will contact you by phone or email.

Thank you again for entrusting us with your tax preparation needs.

It's that time of year again.

Yes, It's Tax Time.......if you need help organizing your information and ensuring that you have included all your information, go to our "Useful Forms" page and open the 2016 Tax Organizer and 2016 Tax Information Worksheet.
